Seabrookthe GOP mayoral candidate, whom he praised for previously serving three terms each on the New Albany City Council and Floyd County Commissioners.He said he will be back in Southern Indiana during his re-election campaign.
“I want folks to know it’s pedal to the metal,” he said.
Floyd County Republican Party Chairman Shawn Carruthers said he was thrilled to have the governor at the fundraiser.
“I will say we are elated,” Carruthers said of the governor’s appearance. “The governor is paying attention to New Albany for multiple reasons. We have a very good Republican ticket.”
Seabrookthe GOP mayoral candidate said he was also pleased and thankful that Holcomb made time to make an appearance at the event.“He just announced himself so he is killing two birds with one stone,”
