Thanks to those readers who’ve asked about my mom.
She had a fall and had to visit the emergency room, but apart from scrapes and a minor cut, the only real issue is a broken bone in her wrist. She is recuperating at home and remains as feisty as ever, and I will pass along your greetings and thoughts.
