As you can see, yesterday (or was it Monday — I’ve been at a distilling conference, for heaven’s sake) the stump disappeared, although the hole remains.
Let’s not be churlish. Thanks to the city, the tree board, Clean and Green, or the colossal radioactive beaver … in short, thanks to whomever removed the stump.
Seeing as the hole remains unfilled, are we to surmise that a sapling will be coming our way, albeit in 21 months or so?
